What does this review evaluate?
This is a research-based review of the free-to-join ClickBank Profit Club, evaluating the seller's public claims against what can be confirmed. It has not been hands-on tested, includes no star rating, and concludes that the program may be a low-cost way to explore a ClickBank funnel but offers no evidence of typical results.
Because this site earns a commission on possible paid purchases, we have tried to say plainly where evidence runs out. If you want the neutral basics first, start with the program overview.
What CB Profit Club is and what it claims
CB Profit Club is a membership run by John Thornhill. Its join page says members receive a ClickBank funnel built, branded and hosted for them, leads delivered to their own email list, commissions from upgrades and additional products, and live coaching with a support team. It adds that joining is free and needs no credit card.
The claim worth testing is the central one: that owning the list improves an affiliate's position. That is logical. An email list lets you contact the same people repeatedly, which a single click to a vendor does not. Whether this particular funnel converts is unknown, and the only performance figures on the page come from the seller.
What the buyer receives, and what can be verified
Strictly speaking there is no purchase at the entry level, since membership is free. What is received is access. We could verify that the public join page lists the items above. We could not verify what the member area contains, how long the funnel stays hosted, or what limits apply to customising it. Those unknowns are the main reason this review does not call the product good or bad.
Potential advantages
- Low entry cost. Free joining lets you look before spending anything.
- Less setup. A hosted funnel saves the time and fees of building pages.
- List ownership. Leads going to your list lets you build a relationship over time.
- Human support. A named creator and a support portal are more than many offers provide.
- Cautious disclaimer. The seller's own page says results vary and are not guaranteed.
Limitations and disadvantages
- Traffic is not included in the verified description. A funnel is only a destination.
- Revenue depends on upgrades. The model described earns from backend purchases, so a paid offer may become relevant sooner than "free" suggests.
- Little published detail. No curriculum, refund terms or paid-offer prices appear on the join page.
- Shared template. A done-for-you funnel is likely similar to those used by other members; the effect on conversions is unknown.
- Unverified success claims. Sales totals and member counts are marketing figures.
How affiliate marketing works in practice
An affiliate earns only when a tracked visitor completes a purchase. For a beginner the practical sequence is: choose an audience, attract people from it, collect their interest, and recommend relevant offers honestly. Each step can fail independently. A person might attract visitors who never opt in, or build a list that never buys. The funnel in this program shortens the technical part of that chain; it does not shorten the audience and traffic parts.
Traffic and audience selection
Traffic from search or social media is slow and costs time. Paid ads are faster but can lose money while you learn what converts. A narrow, clearly defined audience tends to be easier to write for than "everyone who wants to make money online," a crowded market with heavy competition. Choose an audience you can serve, then judge whether this funnel fits it.
Skills, time and expenses
Expect to learn basic writing, email etiquette and tracking. Time varies by person; the program does not publish a time commitment, so we will not invent one. Costs outside the membership can include ads, an email platform if your list is not provided for free, a ClickBank account, and possibly a domain. Verify each with support before assuming it is covered.
| Cost area | Included? | Verified? |
|---|---|---|
| Joining the club | Free per the seller | Seller statement |
| Funnel hosting | Described as included | Seller statement |
| Traffic or ads | Not described as free | Unknown, ask support |
| Paid upgrades | Optional, not itemised | No |
| Your time | Always your cost | Yes, general |
Income claims and realistic expectations
The "$23M+" figure on the seller's page refers to student sales, not to what a typical member earns. Sales are not profit, and a total across thousands of people says little about the middle of the group. The seller's own disclaimer says results depend on experience, work ethic, skills and effort. Our earnings disclaimer applies to everything here: most people new to affiliate marketing earn little or nothing at first, and you can lose money if you spend on ads or upgrades.
Refund policy and purchase terms
No refund policy appears on the public join page, which is reasonable for a free membership but unhelpful if a paid offer appears later. Before paying for anything, find the refund window on that offer's checkout page, screenshot it, and keep your receipt. See also our purchases and refunds page and the buying guide.

Who might consider it, and who should compare first
It may be worth a look if you are curious about funnels, comfortable with email marketing rules, and willing to treat the first months as a learning exercise with a spending cap.
Compare alternatives first if you want predictable income, plan to rely on borrowed money, prefer a published curriculum before joining, or already have an audience and need only an affiliate link rather than a funnel. Alternatives include promoting ClickBank products directly with your own content, using a general email platform, or learning from free official resources.
Overall assessment
The program's strongest point is its low barrier to entry, and its weakest is how little can be checked from outside. A fair summary: potentially useful as an inexpensive look at a funnel-based approach, unproven as a source of income, and dependent on traffic and effort the member must supply. We give no rating because we have not tested the member area, and any rating would imply knowledge we do not have.

Frequently asked questions
Is CB Profit Club worth it?
That depends on what you spend and what you expect. Joining is described as free, so the entry risk is low. The larger costs are traffic and time, and no outcome is guaranteed, so "worth it" can only be judged against your own goals and budget.
Does CB Profit Club work?
The seller describes a working funnel and support, but this review has not tested the member area and no independent measure of member results was found. A funnel can function technically and still earn nothing if it receives no suitable traffic.
Are there CB Profit Club complaints?
We did not find verifiable complaint data we could cite, so we do not claim there are many or none. Many pages ranking for this topic are affiliate-driven and not reliable evidence either way. Check ClickBank's own support channels and the seller's support portal for current issues.
Is this a hands-on review?
No. It is a research-based review built from the seller's public pages and general affiliate-marketing sources. The author has not joined or tested the member area, and there are no star ratings or scores.
What is the refund policy?
The join page does not state one. Any paid upgrade will have its own checkout terms, and ClickBank support handles orders it processes. Confirm before paying.
